1. Suprabhatam Seva

  • Timing: 3:00 AM – 3:30 AM
  • Meaning: Suprabhatam means "waking up the Lord."
  • Description: This is the first seva of the day, where Venkateswara Swamy is awakened with melodious hymns. Only a limited number of devotees are allowed, making it one of the most sought-after sevas.

 

2. Thomala Seva

  • Timing: 3:30 AM – 4:00 AM
  • Meaning: "Thomala" means garlands of flowers.
  • Description: The Lord is adorned with fresh flower garlands. This seva highlights the beauty of the deity, decorated with colorful flowers in different styles each day.

 

3. Archana Seva

  • Timing: 4:00 AM – 4:30 AM
  • Description: Priests chant 1,008 names of Lord Venkateswara (Ashtottara Shatanamavali) while offering flowers at His feet. This seva brings divine vibrations and blessings for the devotee’s prosperity and well-being.

 

4. Kalyanotsavam Seva

  • Timing: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (daily)
  • Meaning: "Kalyanotsavam" means marriage ceremony.
  • Description: This seva symbolizes the divine wedding of Lord Venkateswara with Goddess Padmavathi and Goddess Lakshmi. Couples often book this seva to seek blessings for marital harmony.

 

5. Unjal Seva (Dolotsavam)

  • Timing: Evening (usually 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
  • Description: Lord Venkateswara’s idol is placed on a swing (unjal) and gently swayed to the rhythm of devotional songs. It’s performed in the Unjal Mandapam inside the temple complex.

 

6. Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva

8. Astadala Pada Padmaradhanamu Seva

  • Timing: Every Tuesday at 6:00 AM
  • Description: The Lord is worshipped with 1,008 golden lotuses while chanting hymns. This seva was introduced in 1984 to offer special puja on behalf of devotees worldwide.
